Since 1956, IASLIC organises biennial Conferences and Seminars in alternate years (with a few initial exception) to provide opportunities to library professionals to present their research papers on emergent issues on professional matters. Normally conferences /seminars are on two major topics viz. a primary theme coupled with Special Interest Groups(SIGs) for deliberations. IASLIC, since its inception, strictly adheres to maintain publication ethics in promoting research integrity in publishing the papers. Selected peer-reviewed papers presented in conferences / seminars are included, if approved by the Editorial Board on the basis of their merit and value, in the post-conference / post-seminar volume, IASLIC Special Publication (ISSN 0972-3668) annually published.
